Jeremy found his path into construction through a high school program, where working with his hands quickly became second nature. He takes real pride in building something from start to finish. At Marksmen GC, he appreciates the strong work-life balance and the chance to do meaningful work without sacrificing life outside the job. During challenging projects, he focuses on breaking tasks into manageable steps, stays organized, and leans on discipline to push through. That steady mindset, paired with the satisfaction of seeing a job done right, keeps him moving forward.
Emilse was drawn to construction by the satisfaction of building something real, something that lasts for generations. Seeing projects come to life has only deepened her passion for the industry. Her first project at Marksmen GC, Stinson Middle School, was a trial by fire, but one that left a lasting impact. As an intern, she tackled challenges head-on and walked away with lessons that still shape her career today. Her advice to those just starting out? Be a sponge—soak up everything you can, because in this industry, the learning never stops.
Garrett was inspired to pursue a career in construction by his dad. He values the people he works with at Marksmen and believes that staying curious and making connections is key to success in the industry. He thrives on problem-solving, finding joy in tackling difficult challenges. By always keeping the end goal in mind, Garrett stays focused on what truly matters in each project.

Marksmen General Contractors offers a paid internship program for high school and college students interested in a career in commercial construction. Our internships take an all-encompassing approach that lets you gain experience in all aspects of commercial construction from estimating to supervision to project management and even business development.
