Superintendent

Job Description

• Reports to Sr. Project Manager or Project Executive
• Supervise projects through every aspect of construction
• Provide oversight for safety, inspections, and weekly logs
• Plan and coordinate the daily workflow of trades
• Create, track, and update the construction schedule
• Coordinate material forecasting and procurement
• Manage Owner & Client relationships
• Lead the project field team through the construction of a project

• Proven problem solving and critical thinking
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
• An ability to manage projects in a variety of markets and delivery methods
• An ability to embrace and execute innovative construction systems
• Proficiency in ProCore, Spreadsheets, and On-Screen Take-Off
• Functional in a paperless, cloud based environment
• Detail oriented
• Effective time management

Minimum Requirements

• OSHA 30 Hour, First Aid, AED, and CPR Certifications preferred
• Problem solving and critical thinking in the field
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
• An ability to manage projects in a variety of markets and delivery methods
• An ability to embrace and execute innovative construction systems
• Effective work recovery and management regardless of project schedule impacts or delays
• Proficiency with ProCore or similar Project Management software
• Proficiency using Microsoft Projects or Primavera and 3-week look-a-head planning schedules

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time
• Ability to lift overhead a minimum of 20lbs
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop and kneel

Work Environment

• Exposure to a variety of outdoor conditions and typical jobsite environment

• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable means of transportation
